Donation to Operation Stand Down RI
As a veteran founded company, Beacon Design has continued to work with nonprofits for over 45 years. Along with military squadrons, museums, organizations like Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Wounded Warrior, and all military exchanges to help create custom ornaments that are perfect for fundraising, donor gifts, and commemoration. In addition to creating custom product, Beacon Design also has an open line of items that are sold into a variety of retailers, destination stores, e-commerce platforms, etc. with many military branded designs.
Our founder Richard Beaupre, set the tone for the company with his philanthropic initiatives and after he passed away, his three sons continued the tradition of Beacon Giving Back! This year Beacon Design donated 1500 ornaments to Operation Stand Down RI! โDoing good in the community is so important to the team at Beacon Designโ, said Ana Lopes, VP of Sales and Marketing, โโฆfrom participating in neighborhood clean-up efforts to supporting local organizations who do important and impactful work, donating these ornaments to Operation Stand Down was a no-brainer!โ Operation Stand Down Rhode Island will be able to use the donated product at events, sell online, or offer to donors who donate a certain amount, although theyโre not limited to just that. The goal of the donation was to assist a great local non-profit, by giving them products that will increase funds or donations! Now more than ever, with the global pandemic and current state of the world, itโs essential to help one another!

Celebrating Operation Stand Down RI
Since we help nonprofit organizations increase funds for their organization through ornament sales and annual programs. Finding a Rhode Island based organization that we strongly believe in to donate to was essential for us. It was essential that the impact of the donation would weigh well to the organization and that we connect with their mission statement and values. Given that Beacon Design by ChemArt is a veteran founded company finding a veteran conscious organization was important to us, so it was obvious to connect with such an important and transformative organization. Operation Stand Down RI is an extremely essential nonprofit organization, whether youโre attending an event, volunteering or looking for a charitable organization to donate to, OSDRI is a great organization to do so. Their help and support are extremely important to the veteran community.
