Our Legacy and Inspiration
Starting as ChemArt in 1976, we swiftly transitioned into creating ornaments in the mid-1970s. A pivotal point in our journey was the collaboration with the White House Historical Association in the early 1980s. Today, we’re driven by the desires and visions of our customers from diverse sectors, be it religious, main street, festival, or retail.
Materials: From Brass to Brilliance
Each ornament begins with a brass base, which is then coated in gleaming Rhodium or 24kt gold—all manufactured in the USA. Our Lincoln, RI facility sees the ornament transform through 17 meticulous steps, touched by over a dozen expert hands. The process is extensive, but at the end of it, you see each beautiful custom ornament come to life.
Crafting from Ideas to Reality
Our creations are often born from the imaginations of our clients. While some approach us with a precise photo or concept, others come with mere wisps of ideas. Regardless, our account executives and design experts collaborate seamlessly to shape these thoughts into tangible masterpieces.
While there are many steps through the process, it starts with a metal sheet, the chosen design is etched, plated with its final finish, and either digitally or screen printed to infuse color. The last stop is our hand-assembling unit, where the pieces are assembled, strung, and meticulously packed.
