Overview
The San Diego Zoo partnered with Beacon Design to enhance fundraising efforts and offer a custom keepsake to board members, donors, employees, and visitors.
In 2012, they began research to find a custom keepsake that not only kept a touch of tradition but also offered uniqueness. The idea of collaborating with Beacon Design perfectly aligned with the San Diego Zoo’s vision, as the customization of each keepsake met what they were looking for.
San Diego Zoo has since expanded their ornament program. They now release several annual custom ornament that attract collectors, as well as their staple ornaments that are available for purchase in their gift shop and on their website. Additionally, they have created a community of collectors by introducing new designs each year.
