The 2001 official White House ornament features a three-dimensional replica of a carriage of the type used by President Andrew Johnson. Beautifully crafted, it has a 24kt. gold finish and enameled colors. Andrew Johnson often took carriage rides out into the surrounding countryside to relax with his family after a stressful day of politics in the White House. This year’s ornament is uniquely displayed within packaging that includes an antique engraving-style illustration depicting the carriage returning to the White House at Christmas in 1867.

The White House Historical Association Annual Ornament
Since 1981 We’ve had the privilege of working with the White House Historical Association to design and produce their annual White House Christmas Ornament. Each year on President’s Day, a new version of this annual ornament is released. The theme of the annual design is based on a symbolic memory of a featured president and tied in with the theme of Christmas.
